How can this community not be absolutely BUZZING with excitement?? Is everybody completely psyched that the movie is HERE??!! I have IMAX tickets for this evening. Indian food and Willy Wonka with the girls...It really doesn't get any better than that, just fyi.

I AM SO FRIGGIN EXCITED!!! I'm BEGGING my parents to take me (because none of my stupid friends wanna go see it, GOSH they suck sometimes) and today I'm biking to 7-11 to buy some Wonka candy (for some reason, that's the only place in my town that friggin sells it). And I'm gonna wear all purple & orange. XD

No one has time to post about being excited because they are too busy seeing the movie, and writing slash, and drawing fanart, and coming up with original characters with which to slash, and fainting with pure, unadulterated ecstasy. Or rather... adulterated ecstasy.

....And that's why there aren't many posts.

The same goes with fanfiction. You can't put Willy Wonka with boys since clearly his own is Violet's mom. And how do you write slash for a movie that contains one older gent and mainly little boys... is that where the made up characters come in? 'Cause I certainly hope so!

I couldn't go last night since I had more important matters, such as taking a bus up to Maine to see my girlfriend. We're long distance over the summer, but very short distance over the school year. (very close dorms) Anyway, I think we'll be having a date tonight where we watch that movie.
